This soda bread recipe is a combination of cultures as it fuses my love of soda bread with a style of bread that I fell in love with in southern France. A few years ago I was walking along the cobblestone streets of Aix-en-Provence when I came across a small artisan bakery. The buttermilk gives this soda bread the perfect flavor.
